East Coast Life
Thanks for dropping by this boring blog and thanks for the note! Oh by the way, and talking about cleanliness, Singapore is a VERY clean place [a GREAT place!!!]. I remember the Sanbawang area and the Changi Naval Base, that base is awesome, with good sports facilites and good workers. On the spaces inspections, the spaces are checked for compliance with all type of regulations [long check-list], security, cleanliness and organization [are the spaces clean and organized?]. Here is a hint, when I go to any civilian or military office [for any reason] and I see a space which is CLEAN and ORGANIZED, I have a good feeling about the service to be provided because I know the people who work in the place CARE. First impressions !!! Again, thanks for dropping by and have fine SINGAPORE Day !!!

TIN CAN SAILORS
Oh, I need to explain this one. The term "Tin Cans" and "Small Boys" is given to small size US Navy warships [such as frigates and destroyers]. So, a Sailor assigned to a destroyer is a "Tin Can Sailor." Note that "Tin Can Sailors" take a BEATING during high winds and heavy seas - during heavy seas "the small boys" float and move around like a tin can on top of the waves! And now you know the rest of the story ...
Tin Cans Forever !

You have been to Singapore! Yes, Sembawang and Changi Naval Base are great places in Singapore. You should have seen more places here. It's a great place for living!

Yes, very familiar with Singapore, the Straits of Malacca, Lomboc Straits, and the rest of the Indonesian Archipelago. In my opinion that is one of the most impressive areas on this planet. And the are is very important for the economy of this planet. Again thanks for dropping by and have a fine SINGAPORE evening.

My marathon training is going well, no breaks in my training since early April [when I had to take a day off due to BAD weather in St George UTAH]. Keeping fingers crossed, I want to do good on my next race. Okay, thanks again and have a fine VEGAS day!!!

Good morning [it is 1100 on the West Coast of the USA]. Yes, a runner and I just came back from a very rewarding run. GOOD Summer in ref to my daily workouts with no injuries to report [no injuries is always GOOD news]. In ref to the meetings, YES, 30 minutes are more than enough for a meeting [but we are talking about work/business meetings - I was not talking about SOCIAL meetings]. RIGHT again, I do have good hand writing! Very good guessing !!! Okay, Niki-chan, Have a fine JAPAN evening.

Are you trying to tell me that Sinatra and the rest of the rat pack are not music? What about the Big Band era and swing?
*** shakes head in disbelief ***
Paul
Head shaking not required. Yes I like "the Sinatras, the rest of the rat pack, the big band era, and the swing era." But, imho, Johnny Cash, Elvis, and The Beatles
rule [placing the man in black in MY number one spot]. If we ask 250 million Americans what they like, we will get 250 million different answers. Have a fine TEXAS evening!
