Swift-Boated! The 12-year-old Graeme Frost talks to reporters after a press conference. The swift-boating of 12-year-old Graeme Frost.
Don't believe it all. Beware of the RWA [right wing axis] attacks. The RWA and the rest of the RWW [right wing wackos] were hard at work trying to swift-boat the kid and his family after he delivered the "SCHIP" [State Children's Health Insurance Program] Democratic Party's response to the president's weekly address a couple of weeks ago. Soon after the radio appearance, the RWA and the RWW began to insist that the family were affluent because the kid and his sister are attending private schools [good on them, they are on scholarship], because they live in a neighborhood where some of the houses are expensive [the family bought their house for $55k in 1990 when the neighborhood was rundown and dangerous] and because the kid's father owns a business [the business was dissolved in 1999]. Politics is a dirty game, but why do we go as low as attacking a 12-year-old kid? How far are we going to go on the politics of destruction? When are we as Americans going to say enough is enough? Both major political parties are guilty as charged. The attacks on this family were sponsored and directed by the upper echelon of the Republican Party, including the office of the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Mitch McConnell [remember him, he is one of the Homo Corruptus]. Again, don't believe it all. Those attacking the kid and his family were totally discredited by the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and by Time Magazine. How bad was the swift-boating of this kid? The New York Times reported that Republicans in Congress were gearing up to use the kid as evidence that Democrats have over expanded the health program to include families wealthy enough to afford private insurance, but had backed off as the case fell apart. So, the case against this family fell apart, leaving a lot of Republicans with eggs on their faces, however, damage against this kid and his family is already done. In this case, who is going to hold the RWA and the rest of the RWW accountable?
Is this man a Phony General?
No, he is not. Iraq is a nightmare with no end in sight. It is all about Iraq. The war continues and nobody is talking about it, because there is nothing we can do about it. To a large majority of Americans Iraq is becoming a forgotten war. It is not a forgotten war for those with their kids or friends serving in the war front. Last Friday the war returned to our living rooms after a speech given by the former chief of the coalition, General Ricardo Sanchez. He commented that the US mission in Iraq is a nightmare with no end in sight, because of political misjudgments after the fall of Saddam Hussein that continue today. The General cast a wide net of blame for both political and military shortcomings in Iraq that helped open the way for the insurgency. Plus, he called current strategies [including the deployment of 30,000 additional forces earlier this year] a desperate attempt to make up for years of misguided policies in Iraq. He told a group of journalists covering military affairs that there is no question that America is living a nightmare with no end in sight. General Ricardo Sanchez was a yes man for the Secretary of Defense and for the president when he was running the show in Iraq [he was part of the problem]. Up to this point I have not read or hear nasty comments by part of the Republican leadership, however, I do expect to see this man labeled Phony General by The RWA and by the rest of the RWW talk show hosts.
We are talking elections!
Shipmates, it is all snafu for some of the candidates. My Final Four have made no progress on the polls. If the primaries were held today, the nominees would be Hillary Clinton on the Democratic side and Rudy Giuliani on the Republican side. How are we looking on the national polls? On the Republican side we have Hillary Clinton leading with 48.2 percent, followed by Barack Obama with 22.6 percent. John Edwards is third with 11.6 percent, followed by Bill Richardson with only 3.4 percent. On the Republican side of the house we have Rudy Giuliani leading with 30.2 percent, followed by Fred Thompson with 19.5 percent. John McCain is third with 13.0 percent, followed by Mitt Romney with 11.2 percent. On the mano-a-mano for the 2008 general election, we have Hillary Clinton beating ALL the candidates. She is now leading Rudy Giuliani by 7 points [48 to 41 percent], and she is giving a double-digit whipping to Fred Thompson, leading by 15 points [52 to 37 percent]. How are we doing on the favorable opinion of the candidates? Hillary Clinton is making progress, now with 54 percent of the Likely Voters expressing a favorable opinion of Hillary Clinton. While Hillary Clinton is making progress, things are not looking good for Rudy Giuliani, with just 49 percent of the Likely Voters now offering a positive assessment of Rudy Giuliani. At one point early in the season, Rudy Giuliani’s favorable ratings topped 70 percent.
The Boys Of Summer.
On the National League things are NOT looking good for my Arizona friends, with the Colorado Rockies leading Arizona

Update on Steve Fossett. This good American disapperared on 09/03/2007 and remains missing. Nothing heard from him in the past six weeks and this morning British entrepreneur [and a good friend of Steve Fossett] Sir Richard Branson said he had all but given up hope that explorer Steve Fossett would be found alive. Branson described his friend Fossett as a remarkable individual, and said I think the chances are that he's no longer with us, I think everybody involved has pretty well given up hope, sadly. As per Branson, Fossett's wife had written to him to say she was returning to Nevada for one final search but the likely fate of her husband was beginning to sink in. Three days into the search, Major Ed Dames [a Remote Viewer] went on record [I heard him on a radio program] saying that there was no hope to find Steve Fausett alive and that the search team was looking in the wrong place, he recommended to start searching an area to the west, on the Sierra Nevada which is packed with canyons and very strong wings. As far as I know this area was not searched by air because it is too dangerous.
Thanks for reading!

It's obvious that little Graeme Frost is a "phoney" kid. OOOOps, thought I was commenting at Michele Malkin for a second there.
Ricardo Sanchez is not a phoney general, he is one that didn't have the courage of his convictions though. He was part of the problem, and is now attacking it. He also said some scathing things about the press.

In ref to the general, correcto, he did not have the COJONES to do the right thing when he had the opportunity to do so. In ref to that Malkin lady, she is clueless but she is not good enough to be part of my RWA [Right Wing Axis]. But, is she the one [on the first cartoon] next to the phony family values preacher and drug abuser Rusho? Have a fine Texas evening.

on Graeme Frost and others:
I find it reprehensible that afflicted people (child or adult) would be exploited for the benefit of political movements. Regardless of the financial standing of the Frost family...keep the kids out of the public eye!
This has nothing to do with your post but I personally feel that Elizabeth Edwards has been exploited to favor "you know who"...regardless of what has been reported about her willingness to campaign for him.
Just my opinion...and $1.00 more will get you a stale cup of coffee at a convenience store...small cup at that!

Thanks for dropping by and thanks for your comment. BOTH parties are exploiting the innocent. I wrote on the Frost's incident "Both major political parties are guilty as charge." I see manipulation and abuse from both sides. SHAME ON THEM. No, shame on US because we continue to elect the same crowd, election after election. Have a fine Texas evening!

oh hope Madeleine McCann-chan and Steve Fossett-chan are alive!!
and feel sorry for 12 y.o. boy.
have a nice day cfs!!
Malkin is pretty right wing, but if you don't think I went far enough ... how about Ann Coulter?
Niki
Good morning. Both, Steve Fossett and Madeleine McCann disappeared on the 3rd day of the month [Steve on 09/03/2007 and Madeline on 05/03/2007]. The chances of finding Madeline McCann alive are good, the chances of finding Steve Fossett alive are not too good if he was involved in a plane crash. Yes it is bad what happened to the 12-year-old kid here in the USA but for our political parties there is no age limit on the defamation game. Everyone is fair game regardless of age, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. The end game is to DESTROY the enemy, and in this case for the Republican Party the enemy was a 12-year-old kid and his family. Both major political parties are guilty of practicing their policy of destruction. And now you know the rest of the story. Have a fine JAPAN evening.

Paul in ref to The Right Wing Axis
The Right Wing Axis [plus membership] is listed on my frequently used acros under RWA.
Members of the RWA are:
1. Phony Family Values Advocate and Drug Abuser Limbaugh.
2. Phony Family Values Advocate and Limbaugh's Waterboy Hannity.
3. Phony Family Values Advocate and Anorexia Nervosa Coulter.
This trio makes what it is called The Right Wing Axis.
They are in charged of distributing the GOP talking points via the air waves on a daily basis.
They are pretty good at brain washing their CULT followers.
Their CULT followers refuse to think for themselves.
Their CULT followers are pretty good repeating everything said by the CULT leaders.
Have a fine Texas day, and beware of the RWA. Don't believe it all.

Update on The Boys Of Summer
Well, the COLORADO ROCKIES were able to ROCK the Arizona D-Backs with four wins in a row. They are done and now the Rockies wait for Boston and Cleveland to fight each other for the American League title. Colorado have won 21 of the last 22 games [ten in a row], and the last time they lost a game was one month ago [not bad at all]. Now Cleveland is leading Boston 2 games to 1 [but this is not over until it is over]. Play Ball !!!

on Steve Fossett:
I heard Richard Branson speak and felt such grief. All these weeks I've held the hope that Fossett would be found, alive of course. If this can't be, at least I would like for his family to find some closure.

Oh by the way, I met [Sir] Richard Branson in a restaurant during a port visit to Sydney Australia in the late 1990s. Real gentleman. As I understand, Major Ed Dames and a group of pilots are checking an area on the Sierra Nevada where they believe the aircraft went down. Really dangerous to check by air and almost impossible to reach by land. I hope they can find the crash site before the heavy snow comes. Have a fine Texas evening.

Thanks for coming back! Today I had a great workout. This was my first workout after running the Saint George Marathon [my plan was to take ten days off after running the marathon]. I did a 65 minute workout and my legs are feeling better [PTL]. Niki, I hope that politics in your country are NOT as bad [that is no politics of destruction]. Have a fine JAPAN morning.
