Merry Christmas !!!

Okay, this is my first post here in a LONG time. So, I was way off base in some of my 2008 predictions, but it was a FUN year for the politicos aficionados. It was NOT a good year for the economy, my retirement portfolio took a BIG hit this year and I plan to do some tax harvesting before the year is over.

One thing to remember, I post my predictions each year on December 24th, so, drop by during the Christmas Eve and check things out.

And you can review my 2008 predictions by clicking on this link:

Predictions 2008

Have a Merry Christmas and a productive 2009. We are going to have a good year!

Well, cfs, it has been a while. I don't post on my blog too often anymore either. I have discovered facebook and its easier and just as fun. Maybe you could consider joining. Your kids are probably on there so you can check in on them. Maybe you are already on there... its more difficult to be anonymous there.
I sure wish you were right on your predictions. Who could have guessed America would vote for socialism? Well, actually America did not want it when it came to the bail outs but our elected officials knew better, right???
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

cfs: Like Terry, I've also discovered Facebook (at the insistence of my daughter...her words..."Mom, it's the place to be!!") Though I do still try to keep my For Love of Home blog updated. Sometimes it gets pretty lame but I don't want to give it up. I have 3 years of my life invested in it.

You're right. It was fun to read your predictions for 2008. Who would have ever thought so much would have happened?

I'm with you, though!! 2009 is going to be as good as we make it...we've just got to stay on top of things!!

Take care and stay well. Let us hear from you as often as possible.

Terry and Inspired, thanks for dropping by and thanks for your notes. Not having fun posting here, I just lost a long reply, so, let me try again this time with a short one. I look forward to an awesome 2009, but 2008 was a good year on my side of the house with the exception of the retirement accounts taking a huge hit - it is going to take a lot of work to recover - Good luck to YOU and YOUR family in 2009.

Thanks
