As always, I expect to have FUN with my predictions in 2012. These predictions are part of my POLITICAL SATIRE repertoire, written in Sardonic Style. These predictions are based on metaphysics, extrapolation, and my award-winning proprietary guessing indicators.

1. MIDDLE EAST PEACE. A large number of Americans politicians will jump on "The Palestinians are an invented People" bandwagon in order to show their support for Israel and to gain political points. With the US Military providing intelligence and targeting information, the undeclared war by Israel against the Iranians will continue, with Israel slowly destroying Iranian nuclear facilities. Our incompetent Administration will be tested once again; the US will be involved in an incident at sea in the Persian Gulf, this time with Iranian Navy units.

2. WAR AGAINST AL QAEDA. Significant progress made in Afghanistan after the spring, with the number of coalition casualties significantly reduced. The incompetent Administration will continue the BHM (Buying Hearts and Minds) strategy; this is, buying the hearts and minds our enemies on the ground, with a large number of former Taliban’s accepting to work for the Afghan's security apparatus. With a few months to go before the 2012 election, the Obama Administration will make what will be considered as a de facto MISSION ACCOMPLISHED announcement, on the war against Al Qaeda after one of our Special Operations Teams places Ayman al-Zawahiri at room temperature during another espectacular raid.

3. ECONOMY AND MARKETS. Unemployment numbers will be down significantly, with both the DEM and GOP claiming the credit, however, the housing market will see insignificant improvement. American investors will continue to avoid Europe. Asian market will make a slow comeback. Solid year for the US Bond Market, including Municipal Bonds. Another FLAT year for cash reserves. Another zigzag year for equities, ending with single digit gains on all three major indexes, the DOW, NASDAQ, and S&P 500.

4. REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES. After a long season of debates the candidates finally engage the discredited administration. NEWT GINGRICH suffers an embarrassing defeat, and decides to go back to writing his books, and working as the ultimate DC INSIDER, representing major companies with his House and Senate compadres. RON PAUL makes a good showing but had to settle for a finisher’s medal and promises once again to LOS PAULISTAS that he will be back for the 2016 election. MICHELE BACHMANN is awarded a finishers medal and continues to be the leader of LOS TIPARTISTAS. Candidate RICK SANTORUM is awarded a finishers medal and decides to join a major television network as a political talking head. JON HUNTSMAN is awarded a finishers medal and becomes an active campaigner for the nominee. After a shaky start, MITT ROMNEY becomes the comeback kid and takes the GOLD MEDAL.

5. REPUBLICAN PARTY. After a public relation debacle at the end of 2011, LOS TIPARTISTAS re-group and make a comeback. LOS TIPARTISTAS will force the GOP leadership to play hardball, opposing the Failed-Obama-Administration on everything. LOS TIPARTISTAS will not allow anything to get through their Firewall. The Republican Party leadership and their registered voters will be fully motivated; they can smell the blood in the water. The Republican Party will conduct a relentless assault against the one term president and against everyone running under the DEM FLAG for any elected position; they are going for the kill in 2012 with the goal of winning The Trifecta.

6. DEMOCRATIC PARTY. After suffering embarrassing defeats in 2010 and 2011 the party is ready to make a comeback. Their mantra will be that the DO NOTHING GOP CONTROLLED CONGRESS shall not be trusted. The DEM leadership will be pumped up and motivated, in their hearts they believe that the American voters will give them ANOTHER CHANCE to FIX the country. The party will collect almost a BILLION DOLLAR for the 2012 election. The leadership of the Democrats Defamation Team or DDT will do WHATEVER it takes to win it ALL in 2012, they are going for the gold and they want to win the Trifecta.

7. THE PRESIDENT. The relentless assault by GOP TALKING HEADS on radio and television will continue. The incompetent administration makes for the perfect target for the Republican Attack Team. Things get real ugly for the president by the month of July, but then he makes a slow comeback. His APPROVAL numbers will be floating around 40 to 45 percent during the year. His disapproval ratings will be in the 50s, improving slowly by the month of September. He will be out and about BLAMING the DO NOTHING GOP CONTROLLED CONGRESS for every personal screw up. Nothing of significance will get done during his watch in 2012.

8. THE 2012 TRIFECTA. Here is my most important prediction for 2012, and we are going for the GOLD on this one. We see the REPUBLICAN PARTY winning THE TRIFECTA in 2012. The GOP wins the White House, makes gains on the US SENATE, and retains the House of Representatives. Bet against MY trifecta at your own risk.

Thanks for reading my 2012 predictions. Just a reminder, as I have said before, these predictions are part of my political satire repertoire, they are written using a Sardonic Style, and you should not bet your hard-earned California Pesos on my predictions. Again, thanks for reading and let’s have a productive 2012.

P R E D I C T I O N S 2011

P R E D I C T I O N S 2011

Legal disclaimer: I have posted my predictions on internet web sites during the Christmas season for the past eight years. I expect to have a good year in 2011. These predictions are part of my political satire repertoire, and as always, they are written using a Sardonic Style. My predictions are based on metaphysics, extrapolation, and my award-winning proprietary guessing indicators.

1. THE PRESIDENT. The relentless attack on the president by part of the opposition will continue. His approval rating will be in the low 30s during the first part of the year, but he will make a slow comeback during the second half, finishing the year with an approval rating in the high 30s. Trying to label the opposition as Do-Nothing Republican Congress will backfire. Nothing of great value will get done by the Jimmy-Carteresque Administration in 2011. He will announce his intention to run for a second term in a live television talk show—just to be challenged by a member of his own party.

2. MIDDLE EAST PEACE. No changes in 2011 and no significant progress made. The Middle East Peace issue will be used as ammunition by members of the Republican Party as they try hard to paint the Jimmy-Carteresque Administration as weak when dealing with Middle East Bullies.

3. AMERICAN TROOPS IN IRAQ. The Pentagon will continue the BHM strategy, or buying hearts and minds of the Iraqis. A few thousand Americans will be left in country to support democracy in Iraq. No V-I celebration in NYC until the summer of 2014.

4. AMERICAN TROOPS IN AFGHANISTAN. The total number of coalition fatalities will be significantly reduced. The BHM Strategy, or buying hearts and minds, will be fully implemented with a significant number of Taliban members now working as members of the security apparatus under the Hamil Karzai Clan—with American tax payers reluctantly paying their monthly checks. No V-A celebration in NYC until the summer of 2014.

5. THE US ECONOMY AND THE US MARKET. A good number of Americans will return to work, with the Republican Congress getting the credit. Insignificant recovery in the housing market, the US dollar makes a slow comeback. The Dow will reach 12,000 and irrational exuberance will make a comeback.

6. DEMOCRATIC PARTY. The party will be in total disarray with the leadership blaming each other for the 2010 Mid Term Election Shellacking. Pelosi and Reid declared persona non grata by the party faithful and blamed by all the party’s maladies. Donations down the tubes—party supporters totally demoralized.

7. REPUBLICAN PARTY. The GOP will be on a roll, opposing the Jimmy-Carteresque Administration on everything. Nothing will get through the Republican Firewall. Democratic Party members of Congress will be exposed as crooks and liars by their Republican counterparts—all crooks and liars will be under investigation. Things will be ugly for the minority party. Republican Party members will be pumped-up and motivated; they will be out and about in 2011 working hard with the goal of winning The Trifecta in 2012.

8. PRIMARY CANDIDATES. Nothing new on the Democratic side of the house with the president going for a second term—he will be challenged by a member of his own party but he will be the nominee in 2012 anyway. On the Republican side of the house we will see Los Romnistas leading the pack, followed by The Half-Term Governor. Tough situation for a large number of Republican voters with Mitt Romney and The Half-Term Governor as front runners—for obvious reasons Fox News will try to push the team led by The Half-Term Governor—but by the end of 2011 Los Romnistas will have a commanding lead.

9. CALIFORNIA. Jerry Brown is back in power, he will make a lot of noise but at the end of the day nothing will get done. He will continue to get a lot of support from his friends in Burbank. We will not see the Republican Party trying to pull a Gray Davis on Jerry Brown. Congressman Darrell Issa (R, 49th District) will not contribute another $1.6 million for a recall—this time around Californians are not going to buy it—the Governator experiment failed miserably.

10. THE 2011 TRIFECTA. We have no elections in 2011, so the trifecta is on the US MARKET. We are BULLISH on the United States and you can take this trifecta to the bank. All three major indexes, the DOW, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 will end 2011 with significant gains. Bet against MY trifecta at your own risk.

Thanks for reading my 2011 predictions. Just a reminder, as I have said before, these predictions are part of my political satire repertoire, they are written using a Sardonic Style, you should not bet your California Pesos on my predictions. Again, thanks for reading and let’s have a productive 2011.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all my friends in cyberland !!!

Let me tell you, 2010 was an AWESOME year.

Very productive year.

Looking forward to a great year in 2011.

Have fun with your family and friends during this Christmas season !!!

Thanks for reading.

Long time no see you

We are taking a break from Bloggers World, we are way too busy at work but we will be back. Well, he did it. Yes We Can. And, as you know, I was not giving Barack Obama "a chance" to become the nominee [and we are talking about getting the Democratic Party nomination]. Change is coming to America, time to fix what is broken. It is possible that the Sleazy Clintons will call it a day after the last set of primaries are OVER tomorrow night. We shall see.

I will wait to SEE IT to believe it. I learned a LONG time ago not to underestimate the Sleazy Clintons and as far as I know the GAME is NOT over until it is over.

For the Obama Team I have just one recommendation: Do not open those champagne bottles yet!

See I told you so, politics is FUN, and watching the Sleazy Clintons whining all the way to the Democratic Party Convention is REAL fun!

Thanks for reading.

Updated 05/25/2008 at 0840 Pacific.

The game is not over YET but the good lady is about to sing [not yet, but after the June primaries]. This is from the Reuters news service - Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter said on Sunday he expects Democratic super delegates to reveal their choice for presidential nominee soon after the final primary in June and that Hillary Clinton will then have to quit the race. In an interview with Sky News, Carter said he did not think Clinton was achieving anything by staying in the fight. "I think not. But of course she has the perfect right to do so," he said while attending a literary festival in Britain. "I'm a super delegate ... I think a lot of the super delegates will make a decision quite, announced quite rapidly, after the final primary on June 3," he told Sky News. "I have not yet announced publicly, but I think at that point it will be time for her to give it up," Carter said.

This is what we have left on the Democratic Party side of the house:

06/01/2008 Puerto Rico
06/03/2008 Montana
06/03/2008 South Dakota

The Sleazy Clintons must pull a clean sweep in PR, MT, and SD. However, the race will NOT be over after MT and SD [those are the last states to hold primaries or caucuses but the game will NOT be over then]. I expect to see the Sleazy Clintons fighting for their political life all the way to the final delegate count during the Democratic Party convention. This is going to be FUN to watch!

See, I told you so, politics is FUN, and watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is REAL fun!

Have a fine Memorial Day Weekend and thanks for reading.

Original note

Well, the game could be over for the Sleazy Clintons as soon as next week. The numbers are just NOT THERE for the Sleazy Clintons and this is what we have on the primaries plate:

05/20/2008 KY = HRC will win in Kentucky
05/20/2008 OR = BHO will win in Oregon

Things are looking pretty good for Barack Obama and only a water cooler can stop the Obama Man from becoming the Democratic Party presidential nominee for 2008. As of now the Obama Man is losing BIG to the Republican Party presidential nominee John S McCain.

The 2008 presidential campaign is ON and I do expect things to get REAL UGLY with some politicians playing the gender and race card. It is NOT going to be pretty.

Warning: I do not support any of the two front runners and once again Americans will have to pinch their noses and vote for one of the candidates. Sad story.

See I told you so, watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is REAL FUN!

Thanks for reading.

The McCain Factor

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6DsJkZIvjsU/SAJRhUseitI/AAAAAAAAAGo/3rWbWaNQgkY/s400/McCain+wins.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5188799353617025746" />Senator John S McCain from the Great State of Arizona. While the Democratic Party candidates beat on each other, JSM is having FUN.

Things are NOT looking good for the Democratic Party candidates. As of this writing Senator John S McCain is beating both candidates to the punch.

As per the latest Rasmussen tracker JSM is beating BHO 50% to 42%.

On a mano-a-mano against HRC, the results are the same, JSM 49% and HRC 41%.

Another piece of BAD news for the Democratic Party candidates. JSM now leads both Democrats among unaffiliated [real independent] voters.

And I do expect to see the polls looking real BAD for the Democratic Party candidates during the months of June and July.

As I have said ad nauseam, the 2008 presidential election is for the GOP to lose. The Democratic Party are experts in LOSING presidential elections.

Here is a recap of the last 11 presidential elections:

1968 - Richard Nixon [R]
1972 - Richard Nixon [R]
1976 - Jimmy Carter [D]
1980 - Ronald Reagan [R]
1984 - Ronald Reagan [R]
1988 - G Bush I [R]
1992 - Bill Clinton [D]
1996 - Bill Clinton [D]
2000 - G Bush II [R]
2004 - G Bush II [R]
2008 - My prediction calls for another [R]

Bottom line is this, things are NOT looking good for the Democratic Party in 2008.

The Obama Factor

Barack Obama continues to pack the streets. Nothing happening on the GOP or DEM side of the house. The DEM side is getting ready to do a carpet bombing with political ads against John S McCain. On the GOP side we continue to see John S McCain doing the smart thing, he is trying to distance himself from the current FAILED administration. There was some talk about John S McCain selecting Condy Rice as his running mate - bad idea, the lady is a total failure. The best thing John S McCain can do is to select someone NOT associated with the failed policies of GWB, for example, pick someone like Mitt Romney or Sleepy Thompson. On the DEM nominee, we have a long way to go before the DEM party nominee is SELECTED by the Super Delegates, and it is fun to watch - this is going to be the best show in town, and we need to pay a lot of attention to the Sleazy Clintons and their defamation team. The Sleazy Clintons are not going to roll over, they will do whatever it takes to destroy Barack Obama and will do whatever it takes to win the nomination. See I told you so, watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is FUN!

Updated 03/30/2008 at 0950 Pacific. More bad news for the Sleazy Clintons. Check this from the Dallas Morning News. Barack Obama cruised to victory over Hillary Rodham Clinton in Dallas County's Senate district conventions Saturday, as Texas Democrats continued their arduous and sometimes frustrating process of choosing national convention delegates. Mr. Obama had double-digit leads in all five of the county's Senate districts, mirroring his electoral power here in the March 4 primary. Statewide, the picture was less certain, though Mr. Obama started the day with a caucusing advantage because he won the first round, precinct conventions held the night of the primary. That may mean he can win more overall delegates in Texas even though Mrs. Clinton won the initial primary vote, as Mr. Obama's campaign claimed in a triumphant statement late Saturday. The Clinton campaign scoffed at that and predicted a strong showing once all the results were counted. Again, I learned a long time a go not to underestimate the Sleazy Clintons, but let me say this one more time: See I told you so, watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is FUN!

Updated 03/29/2008 at 0815 Pacific. My first update in the past 15 days, I was gone on a job related trip and came back to a super busy work schedule, but I will try to keep this lowest rated blog running. Back to business here. Things are NOT looking good for The Sleazy Clintons. The team is under pressure from some of the Super Delegates to quit now in order to save the presidential election, which the party plans to win BIG in November 2008. But the fight goes on and the Clinton Defamation Team [CDT] continues to play their dirty tricks against Barack Obama. Anyone expecting the Sleazy Clintons to play by the book is living a fantasy, the team will do whatever it takes to destroy the opposition and they will take no prisoners. Hillary Clinton continues with her mantra, she is in it to win it - and the new mantra by Bill is that competition is good for the party. In The Predictions 2008 [see number 10] cfs predicted the GOP retaining the White House in 2008 - the Democratic Party is doing everything possible for prediction number 10 to happen. See I told you so, watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is fun!

Updated 03/14/2008 at 1717 Pacific. The saga continues for the Democratic Party voters in Michigan and Florida [their votes DID NOT count the first time around]. There is HOPE for the Michigan team. The Michigan Democrats agreed today to push a do-over primary in early June [June 3rd] to give them a say in the race between the Sleazy Clintons and Barack Obama. Things are about to get ugly out there for Barack Obama, as the Sleazy Clintons are expected to WIN big time in the great state of PA, and then they are expected to WIN the do-over in Michigan and if there is a do-over in Florida, there too they are expected to win. For the Sleazy Clintons this is a win win situation. The Barack Obama team is about to get a RAW deal from the Sleazy Clinton's friends. See I told you so, watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is FUN !!!

Updated 03/12/2008 at 1900 Pacific. Barack Obama continues to have fun on the road. He continues to WIN in the small states, but the delegates numbers are the ones that count, and he is AHEAD on the delegates count. But at the end of the day those numbers are going to be meaningless, the Super Delegates will be the ones S E L E C T I N G the Democratic Party candidate. Oh, Geraldine Ferraro is no longer working for the Clintons, she stepped down from the honorary post in the Clintons presidential campaign after her comments that Barack Obama "wouldn't be succeeding in the race for the White House if he weren't black." Note, we have a LONG way before the PA primary, and the CDT is getting ready to do a good number on Barack Obama [again], and I expect things to get real ugly out there in the next couple of weeks. One of these days Barack Obama is going to win in a LARGE state, but again, watch those Super Delegates! See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 03/09/2008 at 1800 Pacific. So far to good for Barack Obama and his team. Change is good and Change is alive and well in the mind of some voters. Obama took the state of WY, and he is ready to get another victory in the state of MS on 03/11/2008 [and then we will have to wait for a few weeks until April 22nd for the PA primary] - that is a LOT of time off between MS and PA, plenty of time for the CDT [Clinton Defamation Team] to come up with all kind of dirty tricks against Barack Obama. Expect the Clintons to launch an all out assault on Barack Obama, and because he wants to be different he will take it - but his wife will not - and I do expect to see Mrs Obama becoming the attack dog on his team [is is okay for her to attack Hillary, woman versus woman]. The next couple of weeks are going to be FUN to watch! See I told you so, watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is fun.

Updated 03/06/2008 at 1840 Pacific. I will be gone for the weekend and will post a quick update now before I close for the evening [super busy with work stuff to do]. Situation normal all fouled up [snafu] on the Democratic Party race for the nomination. As of NOW the candidate leading on the candidates column is Barack Obama, but at the end of the day the Super Delegates will be the ones selecting the candidate [advantage the Clintons]. Now everyone is talking about re-doing the states of MI and FL [their votes did not count the first time around on the Democratic side of the house]. If we have a re-do then, advantage the Clintons. This is a win win situation for the Clintons. November is going to be a SAD month, regardless of the winner on the presidential election Americans once again will get a RAW deal. What to do? This cfs guy is voting for NOTA for president, I do not like the choices and I am not willing to pinch my nose [again] and vote for a so-what candidate. As I have said ad nauseam, ABC and ABM. See I told you so, watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is FUN.

Updated 03/05/2008 at 2100 Pacific. Burning the late night fuel here on the West Coast. Well, after a successful Mini-Tuesday the Sleazy Clintons continue to make slow progress and now they are all pumped up and motivated. The Sleazy Clintons are experts in destroying their opponents and soon they will go for the kill. Yesterday the Sleazy Clintons scored victories in Rhode Island, Ohio, and Texas [for the voters in those three states, you guys have a lot of explaining to do --- what were you thinking?] -- I don't know about you, but we are having a ball behind this keyboard with the Democratic Party nomination. The Republicans are DONE, they picked the WRONG man for the job but that is their problem -- it was fun to watch the GWB and JSM duo on television today -- they represent what is wrong with this country, failed policies and a failed administration. It is time for CHANGE and we are not going to get any CHANGE with HRC or JSM. Can we just throw HRC and JSM out, and have a fresh start with new faces in both races? We have no idea what is going to happen on the Democratic side of the house with BHO and HRC -- it is up to the Super Delegates to SELECT their candidate [to select vice elect] -- and the Super Delegates are not going to please everyone, so, it is going to be FUN to watch. See I told you so, watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is FUN!

Updated 03/04/2008 at 1935 Pacific. The Obama Juggernaut ran out of gas after TWELVE consecutive wins. The Clintons won in RI and they are expected to win in TEXAS and OHIO tonight. Things are about to get UGLY on the Democratic side of the house, and the best is yet to come. I learned a long time ago NEVER to underestimate The Sleazy Clintons. See I told you so, watching the Sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is FUN !!!

Updated 03/02/2008 at 1525 Pacific. Nothing new to report here in reference to the Mini-Tuesday events in Texas, Ohio, Vermont, and Rhode Island. The Clintons are expected to win at least THREE of the four events, and regardless of the margin of victory a win is a win is a win. The polling data is showing Barack Obama closing in on the Clintons in Texas and Ohio, too little too late. Remember the polling data in California showing Barack Obama with a good lead during the weekend prior to Tsunami Tuesday, but the polls were not taking into consideration all those voting early in the primary [in California we were voting weeks prior to Tsunami Tuesday, and the same thing is happening in Texas]. We saw Barack Obama winning ELEVEN in a row, so, we should not be surprised to see the Clintons winning FOUR in a row this week - very tuff but doable - I learned a long time ago not to underestimate The Sleazy Clintons. Up to this point the Clintons are having a tuff time "connecting" with a large majority of the voters [we have written about the dislike and plain hate for the Clintons by a large number of Americans], here is a good article from David Broader titled Clinton's Flaw: A Failure to Connect, check it out, fun reading.

See I told you so, watching the Clintons fight for their political life is FUN !!!

Updated 02/29/2008 at 1845 Pacific. Not looking good for the Clintons in Texas if you are to believe the polls. But things are looking good for the Clintons in Ohio if you are to believe the polls. Critical weekend for the Clintons, no time to mess around, you will see the Clinton Defamation Team or CDT throwing everything they have on Barack Obama. It is going to be UGLY. Oh, here is a link to the latest Zogby tracker [click here], make for good reading, but we learned our lesson during the New Hampshire primary. Proceed with caution.

See I told you so, watching the Clintons fight for their political life is FUN !!!

Updated 02/28/2009 at 1800 Pacific. Don't believe the polls. If you are to believe the polls then things are NOT looking good for the Clintons in Texas. The numbers are changing but imho it is too late. Millions of Texans have already voted and a majority of those votes are for the Clintons. The only thing that can save Barack Obama in Texas are the REPUBLICAN voters, they have no reason to vote for John S McCain because he is already the nominee, so, they will cross over and vote AGAINST the Clintons [not for Barack Obama, but AGAINST the Clintons]. If you want to believe the polls, this is from Rasmussen:

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows Obama attracting 48% of the vote while Clinton earns 44%. Eight percent (8%) remain undecided and another 12% say it’s possible they could change their mind. That latter figure includes 3% who say there’s a good chance they could change their mind. Obama leads by sixteen points among men, but trails by nine among women. Clinton’s lead among Hispanic voters is down to seven percentage points. Among those who are undecided, 73% have a favorable opinion of Clinton and 66% say the same about Obama. Overall, 76% have a favorable opinion of Clinton and 75% view Obama in such a positive light. Seventy-nine percent (79%) believe Clinton would be at least somewhat likely to win the White House if nominated. Seventy-eight percent (78%) say the same about Obama. These latest results show a continuing trend in Obama’s favor. Last Sunday, Clinton led by a single point. Last week, Clinton was up by three. Two weeks ago, the former First Lady enjoyed a double digit lead. The Rasmussen Reports surveys in Texas include people who have already voted and those who are likely to vote. Currently, Obama leads by six among those who have already voted or are absolutely certain they will vote.

Again, remember New Hampshire. I do not believe the latest polls about Barack Obama winning in Texas, UNLESS we see the Republicans crossing over and voting AGAINST the Clintons. See I told you so, watching the Clintons fight for their political life is FUN !!!

Updated 02/26/2007 at 1815 Pacific. Not looking good for the Clintons team. Cristopher Dodd is now endorsing Barack Obama and I will NOT be surprised to see Joe Biden and Dennis Kucinich jumping on the Barack Obama bandwagon. I do NOT expect to see Bill Richardson endorsing anyone BUT the Clintons because his soul is sold to the Clintons, as a matter of facts, I believe his HOPING to become Hillary's running mate if she is the nominee. Oh, on the national polls we see Barack Obama leading [in some of the polls]. I will not watch the debate tonight because I do not feel like listening to Hillary Clinton, every time I see her on my television I immediately change the channel. On another subject, today Barack Obama was vindicated by Army General Casey. I don't know about you, but I am having FUN watching the Clintons fight for their political life. Someone, please call Robert Novak and tell him that the game is not over until it is over. Here is part of what he wrote today on Rasmussen:

Even before Sen. Barack Obama won his ninth-straight contest against Sen. Hillary Clinton in Wisconsin last Tuesday, wise old heads in the Democratic Party were asking this question: Who will tell her that it's over, that she cannot win the presidential nomination and the sooner she leaves the race the more it will improve chances of defeating Sen. John McCain in November?

As I have said ad nauseam, I learned a long time not to underestimate the sleazy Clintons. This thing is not over, and let me say this one more time, Barack Obama is NOT going to be the Democratic Party nominee because the Clintons and the rest of their Defamation Team are NOT going to allow it.

Now to the polls, if we are to believe the numbers then things are not looking good for the Clintons. Some of the polls are now showing Barack Obama AHEAD in the great state of Texas and only a couple of points behind in the great state of Ohio. The Clintons MUST win in Texas and MUST win in Ohio, regardless of the margin of victory [a win is a win is a win].

The Clintons MUST stop the Obama Juggernaut on March 4th, otherwise they will be in DEEP and I mean DEEP trouble regardless of the delegates and super delegates count. A defeat in Texas or Ohio will make the Clintons LOSERS in the eyes of a large majority of Democrats. Bottom line, the Clintons are in a MUST win situation and I know they WILL do WHATEVER IT TAKES to win in Texas and Ohio regardless of the consequences. You read it here first.

See I told you so, watching the sleazy Clintons fight for their political life is FUN!!!

Updated 02/24/2008 at 1545 Pacific.

Let me change the subject here. The Democratic Party is beating the Republican Party to the punch in 2008. We have covered the primaries and caucuses here and we have said before that things are not looking good for the Republicans based on the number of voters showing up to support the candidates at the polls.

For example, in Wisconsin, Hillary Clinton lost big time to Barack Obama, but she received MORE votes than all the Republican candidates combined.

The Democrats are beating the Republicans on a 2-1 basis and I see the Democrats pumped up and motivated, at the same time the Republicans look like a demoralized bunch.

Now to the electoral college. Check this from Rasmussen:

On Sunday, the Rasmussen Reports Balance of Power Calculator shows the Democrats with a 284 to 229 lead in the Electoral College. States with 25 Electoral Votes remain in the toss-up category.

In order for the Republicans to retain the White House in November [I believe they will] they need to get motivated and jump aboard the John S McCain's bandwagon [and again, I believe that by the end of the summer the Republicans will pinch their noses and jump on the John S McCain's band wagon or else].

Click [here] for the article from Rasmussen on how things are looking, and check on those battleground states, and note that I live in California and regardless of my vote the Democratic Party nominee will be the winner here.

See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 02/24/2008 at 0740 Pacific. The first salvo on the Clinton Defamation Team campaign against Barack Obama was fired yesterday. From the WSJ:
<;em>"Sen. Hillary Clinton ratcheted up her attacks on Sen. Barack Obama today, comparing his campaign tactics to those of George W. Bush and urging Ohioans to see past his momentum. "Enough with the speeches and the big rallies and then using tactics that are right out of Karl Rove's playbook," Mrs. Clinton told reporters at a press conference today. She clutched two negative fliers sent to Ohio voters by the Obama campaign that she says make false claims about her position on health care and trade agreements. "Shame on you Barack Obama. It is time you ran a campaign that is consistent with your messages in public. That's what I expect from you," Mrs. Clinton said. Mr. Obama quickly fired back. "These are accurate," he said of the fliers. He also accused his rival of hypocrisy in denouncing the negative campaigning. "We have been subject to constant attack from the Clinton campaign, except when we were down 20 points. And that was true in Iowa. It was true in South Carolina. It was true in Wisconsin. And it is true now." He also questioned why Sen. Clinton raised the issue of the fliers now, weeks after they were first mailed to Ohio voters. "It makes me think there was something tactical about her getting so exercised this morning," he said at a campaign stop in Columbus, Ohio."

As discussed with some of my friends I was expecting the Clinton Defamation Team to come up with some sleazy tactics this weekend, just two weekends prior to the OH and TX primaries. HRC and her team MUST go negative NOW or things could get real ugly if her team allow Barack Obama to WIN or to lose by a only a small margin in OH and TX, she must beat Barack Obama in those two states by a large margin in order to stop the Obama Juggernaut and in order to cut Barack Obama's lead on the delegates count. I do expect the attacks against Barack Obama to continue, and I do expect the attacks to get real ugly - things are about to get PERSONAL on the Democratic side of the house.

Another subject - Ralph Nader is again running for president. Do you care? If you are happy about having Bush-43 in the White House, then you should not care - but if you like a large number of Americans are sick and tired of Bush-43's Nixonian and Jimmy Carteresque administration, plus his failed policies, then you should care. This time around he could take votes away from the Republicans - as I have said before, I see the Democratic Party all pumped up and motivated on winning it all in November because they can smell the blood in Republican waters.

ABC and ABM.

See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 02/23/2008 at 1315 Pacific. Here we go again, the count is now ELEVEN in a row for Barack Obama after winning this week in Hawaii, Wisconsin, and by getting a large majority of the votes of Americans Living Abroad. Now the only thing The Clintons can do is to go NEGATIVE on Barack Obama. Playing the "experience" card is not working for The Clintons.

A large majority of Americans are sick and tired of The Clintons and it shows in the voting. Imho a large majority of Democrats are voting AGAINST The Clintons [vice voting FOR Barack Obama].

Oh, another thing, Democrats continue to beat Republicans to the punch, for example, the vote in Wisconsin, the silver medalist on the Democratic Party contest [Hillary] received MORE VOTES than ALL the Republicans combined. Things are NOT looking good for the Republicans, in the caucuses and primaries the Democrats continue to beat the Republicans by a 2-1 ratio.

Okay, back to Barack Obama and The Clintons - on the last debate, the experts were expecting Hillary Clinton to beat Barack Obama to the punch with her negativity, but it did not happen, and when she tried she received the disapproval by part of those present [she looked surprised by the disapproval].

And talking about the "experience" and "fairness" card, check what George Will wrote on this article, where he talks about the "experienced" failed president Buchanan followed by the "inexperienced" president Lincoln [click here for the article].

And based on that article, after the failed Bush-43 administration, the next president [possibly the "inexperienced" Barack Obama] will have an easy act to follow!

See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 02/19/2008 at 1930. Not looking good for the Bill, Hill, and Chel triumvir. The networks are declaring Barack Obama the winner in Wisconsin and now we have NINE wins in a row for the Obama camp. It is time for The Clintons to go NEGATIVE on the O-man, it is going to get REAL UGLY out there.

See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 02/19/2008 at 1815 Pacific. Things are NOT looking good for The Clintons team if we are to believe the exit polls in the great state of Wisconsin. Barack Obama is leading in the early count and this could be a LONG night for the Hill, Bill, and Cher triumvir.

Another subject, this politico aficionado is sick and tired of the prospective first ladies or prospective first husbands, it is time for them to shut up and let their husband or wife candidate to do the talking. Do you remember Nancy Reagan with her political speeches during her husband's run for the White House [no you can't, it did not happen].

The large majority of the prospective first lady and first husband are suffering from foot and mouth, for example, Mrs Obama is now in hot waters due to her fast mouth - time for her to give an apology and move on [that is, move on with her mouth shut].

Oh, on the Republican side of the house John S McCain is the projected winner in Wisconsin, he will be the nominee for the Republican Party and I will NOT vote for him -- ABC and ABM.

See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 02/18/2008 at 1430 Pacific. Happy Presidents Day. Another busy day in Politicos Land with a former president endorsing the Republican Party front runner for president. Bush-41 is now in the John S McCain's bandwagon. And I just wonder - this is for Republicans - are Republican voters jumping on the JSM bandwagon now that he was endorsed by a Bush? Are those endorsements worth a dime? Do voters in the United States really care about WHO endorses WHO? If this is the case, then Houston we have real problems with some clueless voters. Let me say this one more time, I want every INFORMED voter to vote - all the uninformed voters can do the rest of us a favor by staying home on election day [and to the same uninformed group, please do not vote by absentee ballot]. Look around and see what happens when the uninformed majority vote for the wrong candidate - it is happening right now in the primaries with JSM becoming the Republican Party nominee and HRC only a couple of primary victories away from becoming the Democratic Party nominee. Some are talking about a course on Politics 101 as a requirement to become a register voter, this is not a bad idea, but the Democratic Party and the Republican Party will never endorse such a requirement, the idea here [from the major political parties] is to keep the voters ignorant -- the good thing is that the readers dropping by The Lowest Rated Blog know better. ABC and ABM. See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 02/17/2008 at 1050 Pacific. Plenty of politics to talk about but we will continue to drop by this post and do some updates, I do not want to start a new conversation on the same subject. The fight between The Clintons and Obama goes on and now we see The Clintons on the attack, and we expect things to get real ugly on the Democratic side of the house. Next Tuesday 02/19/2008 we have primaries in the Aloha State and Wisconsin for the Democratic Party race, plus we have primaries or caucuses in Washington and Wisconsin for the Republican Party race.

There is a good opportunity for Barack Obama to make it TEN out of TEN if he can win in Hawaii and in Wisconsin. The Clintons are doing all they can to come up with a victory in the state of Wisconsin in order to stop the Obama Juggernaut. The Clintons are making a mistake by giving the impression that victories by Obama in the small states are NOT a big deal. For the voters in the small states, their vote IS a BIG deal [and those are the same voters The Clintons will need in November if they become the nominees of their party]. In my personal opinion every vote is a BIG deal regardless of where the vote came from.

Barack Obama is expected to do good in Hawaii and in Wisconsin, but some experts are telling us that Wisconsin is too close to call, so, we do not expect to see a blow out in Wisconsin -- but The Clintons are sending a signal to the voters, they will be leaving the state of Wisconsin tomorrow, they will not be present in the state when all the votes are counted.

We have nothing to say about the Republicans race, because as of now John S McCain is the de facto nominee and he is getting all the endorsements. JSM is endorsed by "Bush 41" [George H W Bush], so, he is becoming the "McCain-Bush" candidate and he will take hits from the Democratic side of the house because JSM represents a continuation of The Failed Bush Policies. As I have said ad nauseam, I consider the "Bush 43" administration "Nixonian" and "Jimmy Carteresque" [a total failure] and I see JSM as a cheer leader for the administration.

ABC and ABM!

See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 02/14/2008 at 1820 Pacific. Happy Valentines!!! Okay, now we can shift to politics. To my friends in the great state of New Mexico, you guys need to do better! Finally we know WHO won the Democratic Party primary in NM! This is from the AP: Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton finally won the popular vote in New Mexico's Democratic caucus and picked up one extra delegate Thursday, nine days after Super Tuesday voting ended. State Democratic Chairman Brian Colon made the announcement after a marathon hand count of 17,000 provisional ballots that had to be given to voters on Feb. 5 because of long lines and a shortage of ballots. The final statewide count gave her a 1,709-vote edge over rival Sen. Barack Obama, 73,105 or 48.8 percent of the total vote to 71,396 or 47.6 percent. The former first lady's victory in the popular vote swung the final unallocated New Mexico delegate into her column, which gave Clinton 14 delegates in the state to 12 for Obama. With the addition of New Mexico's delegate, the national delegate count stood at 1,276 for Obama and 1,220 for Clinton on Thursday. No big changes here, Barack Obama is the FRONT RUNNER on the Democratic side of the house and now is time for The Clintons to play catch up. See I told you so, politics is FUN!

Updated 02/12/2008 at 2020 Pacific. Very interesting news here, can you believe it, Obama is now LEADING The Clintons on the delegates count. After whipping The Clintons in 8 out of the last 8 primaries and caucuses The Clintons have watched their lead vanish and now Obama is ahead on the count. This is from the AP:

The Associated Press count of delegates showed Obama with 1,186. Clinton had 1,181, falling behind for the first time since the campaign began. Neither was close to the 2,025 needed to win the nomination. His victories were by large margins — he was gaining about 75 percent of the vote in the nation's capital and nearly two-thirds in Virginia. He had 62 percent of the vote in early Maryland returns. By contrast, Clinton was attempting to retool her campaign in the midst of a losing streak. Her deputy campaign manager resigned, the second high-level departure in as many days.

Again, never underestimate The Clintons, things are about to get REAL ugly on the Democratic side of the house. See I told you so, politics is FUN!!!

Updated 02/12/2008 at 1915 Pacific. The score is now 8 for 8 for Obama as MD and DC are projected for Obama. In DC he is currently leading the count, getting 72% of the vote, and The Clintons are getting 23% of the vote. In the state of MD he is leading The Clintons 72% to 26%. And now watch The Clintons spin spin spin the eight consecutive victories for Obama. The latest winning streak could be good for Obama and the super delegates - some of the super delegates now see Obama in a different way, the man can actually win states which the Democratic Party must win in November if they want to win the GOLD medal in the presidential race. And oh by the way, I lost the count on the Democratic Party race, I believe the score is now 22 victories for Obama and 11 victories for The Clintons. But this is not over and I do expect The Clintons and their attack team to hit Obama with everything they have in the next couple of weeks. It is going to get real UGLY in the Democratic side of the house. See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 02/12/2008 at 1745 Pacific. Shipmates, The O-Man continues to beat the pants out of The Clintons and he is the projected winner in Virginia with 60% of the precincts reported he is leading The Clintons 62% to 37%. And we are waiting for DC and MD. So, we have the O-Man beating The Clintons in SIX of the last SIX primaries and caucuses [it could be 8 for 8 by the time the evening is over]. Let me be clear, I can care less if the O-Man becomes the Democratic Party nominee, but I am having a blast watching the O-Man beating the pants out of The Clintons Trio [Hill, Bill, and Chel]. See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Original Post.

Holy Cow. The O-Man won primaries and caucuses in LA, NE, WA, ME, and the VI during the weekend. Next in line is VA, DC, MD tomorrow. Can Barack Obama make it EIGHT IN A ROW? Are The Clintons willing to take EIGHT in a row and still keep a low profile without pulling the race card?

As per the latest Rasmussen tracker the O-Man is leading the polls with a comfortable lead in VA and MD, and only a water cooler can stop him from winning in Washington DC. To tell you the truth, this man is winning in places were I did not give him a chance in hell, he continues to surprise everyone including The Clintons.

Are the Democratic Party voters actually voting FOR the O-Man or just voting AGAINST The Clintons? Anyway, the O-Man is in the right place at the right time.

The Democratic Party primaries and caucuses were supposed to be a walk in the park for The Clintons. This is becoming a walk in the park, yes, Jurassic Park. But I do not expect to see The Clintons sitting on the side line while the O-Man have all the fun, I do expect to see them hitting the O-Man with everything they have but in a semi diplomatic manner.

As of this moment the O-Man is beating The Clintons to the punch, he is having all the fun for now, but the best is yet to come. Never underestimate The Clintons.

And what about the race on the Republican side of the house? Nothing FUN happening on the Republican side of the house. The leading candidate is John S McCain and he is about to be crowned the Republican champion with one third of the vote, the man is disliked by a large majority of the Republican voters, but come November they will pinch their nose and vote Republican, because that is what they do.

See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Republicans are a demoralized bunch

I like this sign, this is the way a large majority of the Republicans are feeling. Another caucus, another victory for the O-MAN. The Barack Obama team is having all the FUN this weekend. Barack Obama is the projected WINNER of the Maine caucuses and things are just not looking good for The Clintons this weekend regardless of how they spin it. The score is now Barack Obama 19 wins, The Clintons 10 wins, with New Mexico too close to call. To my friends in the great state of New Mexico, your government needs to FIX the election process in the state, we are still waiting for the Super Tuesday results!

Updated 02/10/2008 at 1525 Pacific. The Maine Democratic Caucuses are in progress today and as usual Barack Obama is taking the early lead. Barack Obama continues to beat The Clintons to the punch at the caucuses [good indication here on what the voters are actually thinking, caucus voters belief that Barack Obama is the better choice to face the Republican nominee in November]. One of these days America will take the Obama Man seriously, all the talk is about The Clintons on the Democratic side and John S McCain on the Republican side. Meanwhile, Barack Obama continues to win primaries and caucuses. Oh by the way, as per the AP the Clintons have now shifted into Panic Mode, and I believe it is time for Hillary to start crying in front of the television cameras again [it worked the last time in New Hampshire].

And oh by the way, did you know that Barack Obama was able to BEAT The Clintons at The Grammys today?

See I told you so, politics is fun !!!

Updated 02/10/2008 at 0930 Pacific. Shipmates, Super Saturday is over and Barack Obama was the BIG winner. While The Clintons talk, talk, talk, and talk, Barack Obama continues to WIN primaries and caucuses. Barack Obama won three states and the Virgin Islands yesterday. As of today Barack Obama is beating The Clintons on the number of states WON 18 to 10, and is leading in delegates 1009 to 944 as per the latest NBC numbers. Barack Obama is winning caucuses and this is very important, because in the caucuses they are picking candidates which are able to BEAT the nominee from the opposing party. Bottom line is this, Barack Obama is BEATING The Clintons to the punch! See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Updated 02/09/2008 at 0910 Pacific. Well, the calendar is showing primaries or caucuses today in Guam [GOP], Kansas [GOP], Louisiana [GOP and DEM], Nebraska [DEM], Virgin Islands [DEM], Washington [DEM]. That is two GOP and four DEM and we shall see at the end of the day how things are looking on the Barack Obama's and The Clintons' camps. In order for Barack Obama to become the nominee he must beat The Clintons by a bunch of delegates PRIOR to the convention [when the super delegates will have their say]. Things are about to get REALLY HOT on the DEM side of the house. See I told you so, politics is FUN!

Original post.

Bad news for the conservatives. They MUST accept the fact that John S McCain is their man or else. I have listened to several right wing wacko talk show hosts today and I can hear the pain in their voices. As a matter of fact, one of them went as far as telling the listener to support the Democratic Party nominee in November, in this way we can blame the Democrats for screwing things up beyond repair - this could backfire on the GOP.

On the other side of the isle I see a Democratic Party which is united with one goal in mind, and that is to take over the White House. The only problem at hand on the DEM side of the house is ELECTING a nominee. The Democrats are beating the Republicans on a 2-1 ratio during the primaries, based on the number of voters showing up at the polls [not looking good for the GOP]. But lately the leadership of the Democratic Party is talking about letting the super delegates SELECT the nominee for the November election if things are too close to call by the end of March 2008.

If the super delegates are to SELECT the Democratic Party nominee, do you think that Barack Obama will have a chance to be the one SELECTED? No chance in hell. And here is a good song for the Barack Obama camp:

I won't back down.

Are YOU ready for Commander In Chief Hillary R Clinton?

This Libertarian Independent [and former Reaganista] says ABC and ABM !!!

See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Adios Mitt Romney

Mitt Romney says adios to the primaries and now we have a de facto Republican Party nominee in John S McCain.

Well shipmates, personally I was expecting the announcement yesterday, but it happened today. It is going to get UGLY on the Democratic Party side of the house - advantage The Clintons.

And oh by the way, I will not change the 2008 cfs trifecta regardless of what happens during the primaries. In the way I see things we will have the Democratic Party retaining the Senate and the House of Representatives, and the Republican Party retaining the White House.

See I told you so, politics is FUN !!!

Political Recap 030

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6DsJkZIvjsU/R6nSN2cILhI/AAAAAAAAAGQ/I0WbOwBOjfw/s400/McCain+wins.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163889583150607890" />John S McCain is becoming the real comeback kid on the primaries, he is about to be crowned the Republican Party champion. Seven Million Dollar Man. That is Barack Obama. The AP is reporting that Barack Obama has raised $7.2 million for his presidential campaign since the first polls closed on Tsunami Tuesday night. This is a remarkable figure that is causing concern among supporters of The Clintons. And oh by the way, Barack Obama continues to ride a wave of fundraising from large donors and small Internet contributors, also raised $32 million in January. At the same time we saw The Clintons loaning their campaign $5 million late last month as Barack Obama was out-raising and out-spending The Clintons heading into the Tsunami Tuesday contests. Some senior staffers on The Clintons campaign are voluntarily forgoing paychecks as the campaign heads into the next round of contests. The two leading Democrats outpaced all candidates in 2007, with each raising $100 million. I have not and will not donate a penny to any of the candidates. Oh yes, you can buy your way to the White House. Note, I continue to say The Clintons because Barack Obama is running against BOTH of them.

Updated 02/06/2008 at 1630 Pacific. More bad news for the Republican Party based on number of voters on Tsunami Tuesday. As per radio reports, the Democratic Party was able to beat the pants out the Republican Party yesterday by a HUGE margin. How bad was it?

Democrats: 14.6 million votes
Republicans: 8.3 million votes

Things could get real UGLY for the Republicans in November if this trend continues. The Democrats are all fired-up, while the Republicans remain totally demoralized.

Updated 02/06/2008 at 1430 Pacific. Very interesting development on the Democratic Party. Barack Obama is now AHEAD of The Clintons on the delegate count. We are talking about the regular delegates and not the Super Delegates [those will sell their soul to The Clintons]. It is going to be FUN to watch if at the end of the campaign Barack Obama is the one with the largest number of delegates - then watch The Clintons ROB the nomination with the Super Delegates. Click [here] for a good article on Obama leading The Clintons on the delegates count, and The Clinton camp is in denial!

Time for Barack Obama to tell The Clintons I Won't Back Down.

See I told you so, politics is FUN!!!

Updated 02/06/2008 at 1315 Pacific. When Will the Wounds Heal? That is the title to a good article on The WSJ online - America is now divided, and it is divided within party lines. Check this out. With Super Tuesday past, that law seems to be in full effect, especially for Democrats. Whatever else yesterday's voting may have done, it did a good job of laying bare the divides within each party. More than that, it may have exacerbated the splits. The Democratic fight between Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton seems certain to continue, and it is showing a clear divide between whites and blacks, between Hispanics and non-Hispanics, between women and men, and between older and younger voters. And the GOP is divided too, check the rest of the story on this link.

Original Post.

Well, Tsunami Tuesday is over and on the Republican side of the house now we have a clear front runner. John S McCain with the help of Mike Huckabee is now solid on the lead and only a water cooler can stop this man from becoming the Republican Party 2008 presidential nominee. This man continues to drive the right wing wacko talk show hosts and right wing wacko writers crazy with his victories. And then there is Mike Huckabee, double-teaming with John S McCain to stop Mitt Romney by any means necessary.

On the Democratic Side of the house, I was totally surprised with the Barack Obama victories, this man was able to WIN in places where I was not giving him a chance in hell to win. The only problem with this candidate is the total DISLIKE by some Latinos. We have some issues with the Latino/African Americans relations in this county, the Latinos just don't trust the African Americans [and it shows on the poll demographics, the Latinos giving The Clintons huge victories]. On the winning column the big winner of the night was Barack Obama, winning more states and caucuses than the rest of the candidates [as of this writing he won in 13 states and is leading in the great state of New Mexico].

The game is almost over on the Republican side with John S McCain becoming the de facto front runner. But on the Democratic side of the house the game will go on, but the numbers are on The Clintons side, plus a large majority of the Super Delegates will go with The Clintons, meaning that for Barack Obama he must continue to run and there is a steep hill in front of him, he is going to need a good pair of legs to continue charging all the rolling hills ahead.

See I told you so, politics is fun!

Political Recap 029

Good painting here of Barack Obama, a total of 350 copies were made [24" x 36"], all sold out within an hour. Well shipmates, we had fun on this Tsunami Tuesday. A lot of surprises, but California let me down, again. This is what we show on the winning column as per the latest press reports:

Clinton = OK, AR, TN, NY, MA, NJ, AZ, CA
Obama = GA, IL, DE, AL, UT, ND, KS, CT, MN, ID, CO, AK, MO
McCain = NY, NJ, IL, CT, DE, OK, MO, CA, AZ
Romney = MA, UT, ND, MT, MN, CO
Huckabee = WV, AR, AL, GA, TN

Personally I was not expecting to see Obama winning in some of the places listed above. Obama had a good Tsunami Tuesday.

Updated 02/05/2008 at 1710 Pacific. Good news for the Obama camp. This is from the AP. "Barack Obama won the Georgia primary Tuesday night, the leading edge of a coast-to-coast struggle with Hillary Rodham Clinton for delegates in the grueling Democratic presidential campaign. Arizona Sen. John McCain challenged his remaining rivals for control of the Republican race. It was Obama's second straight Southern triumph, and like an earlier victory in South Carolina, was built on a wave of black votes. The Associated Press made its call based on surveys of voters as they left the polls." So, as of now things are looking good for the Obama camp, at least in Georgia. We have 3 hours to go in California. Breaking news here are the projected winners on some of the primaries:

McCain = IL, CT, NJ
Romney = MA
Huckabee = AL
Obama = IL, GA
Clinton = TN, OK

See I told you so, politics is FUN!

Updated 02/05/2008 at 1600 Pacific. Interesting exit polling data on this article from the AP. "RACE AND GENDER - In the Democratic races, Barack Obama led among black voters and Hillary Rodham Clinton led among Hispanic voters. Obama led among white men, while Clinton led among white women. Overall, Obama led among men and Clinton led among women, although her advantage among women appeared smaller than was seen in early primary states. In the Republican races, John McCain led among men. He had only a small lead over Romney among women." This is very interesting on Clinton [advantage among women smaller than in early primaries], this could be good news for the Obama camp. We have four hours to go here in the Golden State, and all my family have voted.

Updated 02/05/2008 at 1355 Pacific. More on Mike Huckabee's win at West Virginia's state GOP convention. Mitt Romney was leading in the delegates count during the first round. But then the McCain team went to Huckabee's side in order to defeat Romney. I was listening to Pat Buchanan and he says that Huckabee and McCain are double-teaming Romney to stop him from becoming the nominee. This is a good reason NOT to trust Huckabee or McCain. I do not trust [and will not vote for] Mike Huckabee or John S McCain.

Updated 02/05/2008 at 1155 Pacific. We have the first surprise of Tsunami Tuesday. This is from the AP. Mike Huckabee won the first contest declared on Super Tuesday, picking up all 18 national delegates awarded at West Virginia's state GOP convention. Huckabee bested Mitt Romney, who entered the Mountain State event with the largest bloc of pledged convention-goers. Both men and Ron Paul made in-person appeals to the more than 1,100 convention delegates attending Tuesday's convention. But the former Arkansas governor beat his Massachusetts counterpart after delegates for John McCain defected to his side. The first round of voting at the state convention produced no winner, but eliminated Paul after his fourth-place finish. The results are the first from the 21 states with GOP primaries or caucuses Tuesday. I look forward to a miracle in the Golden State. See I told you so, politics is fun!

Updated 02/05/2008 at 0955 Pacific. Hot off the press here in the Golden State. The Governator just voted for McCain for president, however, his wife and daughter just voted for Obama for president. The Governator is upset with the Republican Party for not allowing the "decline to state" aka independents to vote in the Republican primary in California.

The decline to state aka independents [count cfs in that group] are bad news for The Clintons, as we know The Clintons are not well liked by the independent crowd and I expect the majority of the independent crowd to vote for Obama.

If we are to believe the polls, things are looking good for Romney and Obama in California. As per the latest Zogby tracker taken yesterday, Romney is LEADING by 7 points, Obama is LEADING by 13 points. I took part on the Zogby polls by internet and by phone, however, those numbers are too good to be true. Remember the New Hampshire polling data fiasco.

The poll that count is the one taken tonight when all the votes are counted. One more time, Romney and Obama should blast the airwaves with this song tonight:

Tom Petty's I Won't Back Down.

Updated 02/05/2008 at 0740 Pacific. Well shipmates, Tsunami Tuesday is finally here. It is time to put up or shut up in California and the rest of Tsunami Tuesday states. Those living in my state can choose candidates for REAL change or choose candidates representing the old guard and the status quo [doing the same thing, expecting different results]. Time for Californians to get out there and support ROMNEY on the GOP side of the house and OBAMA on the DEM side of the house. In the way I see it right now it is Anyone But Clinton and Anyone But McCain. I look forward to a miracle in the Golden State. See I told you so, politics is fun!

Updated 02/04/2008 at 1720 Pacific. Things are looking good for candidate John S McCain and he is counting with massive support by part of Republican voters on Tsunami Tuesday to get the race over with. However, we are witnessing a massive assault by part of the REAGANISTAS on radio and television [the right wing wacko talk show hosts]. Good example of the massive anti JSM assault was published today, written by the REAGANISTA Pat Buchanan. Click [here] for the rest of the Pat Buchanan story, he is not painting a pretty picture under a JSM administration.

Updated 02/04/2008 at 1250 Pacific. This is from NBC's Lauren Appelbaum:

Clinton lost her voice pretty badly while at a roundtable in New Haven, CT. She asked for a lozenge and water, and after a minute, she tried to answer a question on health care. She got one short sentence out, and then breathlessly said, "This comes and goes." A nurse then talked for six minutes, giving Clinton a chance to regain use of her voice. About eight minutes after losing her voice, Clinton began to get her voice back (but still was scratchy.

My comment here - Are The Clintons trying to impress the voters in CT in the same way she did in NH with her tears? Oh by the way, this used to be one of my warships underway replenishment break-away song - is this a good song or what?

Here we go with Tom Petty's I Won't Back Down.

Updated 02/04/2008 at 0745 Pacific. Californians are looking for a miracle on Tsunami Tuesday, as a matter of facts we are looking for two.

Miracle number one will be Mitt Romney beating the pants out of JSM. Mitt Romney is bombarding the airwaves with political ads. As per the latest Rasmussen poll we have a TIE between Mitt Romney and JSM, so, anything could happen tomorrow on the GOP side of the house in California.

Miracle number two will be Obama beating the pants out of The Clintons [and I say The Clintons because if SHE wins we will get HIM back in charge]. The Clintons are bombarding the airwaves with political ads. As per the latest Rasmussen poll we have Obama now LEADING in California.

The race could be OVER on the GOP side of the house with JSM winning a large majority of the states on Tsunami Tuesday. But we will NOT see The Clintons coronation on Tsunami Tuesday, things will be different on the DEM side of the house.

Check this good article by Robert D. Check this out.

In California’s Democratic Presidential Primary, Barack Obama now holds a statistically insignificant one-point lead over Hillary Clinton. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in California shows Barack Obama with 45% of the vote while Hillary Clinton earns 44%. Earlier in the week, Clinton had a three-point advantage in what has become an extraordinarily close race.

This is getting interesting and we have no idea how this thing is going to end on Tsunami Tuesday. Here in the PRC at one point The Clintons were leading by double digits.

Updated 02/03/2008 at 1100 Pacific. There is a good article on The Washington Post titled Why Republicans Like Obama, written by Peter Wehner [formerly deputy assistant to president Bush]. He gave three good reasons, and here is reason number three:

A third reason for Obama's GOP appeal is that unlike Clinton and especially John Edwards, Obama has a message that, at its core, is about unity and hope rather than division and resentment. He stresses that "out of many we are one." And to his credit, Barack Obama is running a color-blind campaign. "I did not travel around this state over the last year and see a white South Carolina or a black South Carolina," Obama said in his victory speech last weekend. "I saw South Carolina." That evening, his crowd of supporters chanted as one, "Race doesn't matter." This was an electric moment. Obama's words are in the great tradition of Martin Luther King Jr. Obama, more than any figure in America, can help bind up the racial wounds of America. In addition, for the past eight years, one of the most prominent qualities of the American left has been anger, which has served it and the country very poorly. An Obama primary win would be a move away from the politics of rage.

Do a search, find the article, and read it. It is a good one, and it is written by a Republican.

Updated 02/02/2008 at 1345 Pacific. On the Democratic side of the house we have a tough fight between THE CLINTONS and Barack Obama, both teams are in the race and there will be no clear front runner after Tsunami Tuesday if we are to believe the polls [after New Hampshire I just can't trust the polls].

Here in the PRC [Peoples Republic of California] things are getting interesting, and I expect to see Barack Obama getting a lot of delegates, however, I do expect to see THE CLINTONS winning here in California. On the Republican side of the house I expect to see John S McCain beating Mitt Romney here in the PRC. Mike Huckabee is hurting Mitt Romney in the PRC and other states. As I have said before, I do NOT want to see a John S McCain vs THE CLINTONS match in November 2008.

Yesterday I was listening to one Conservative talk show host here in the PRC talking about a possible John S McCain vs Barack Obama match, this could be a nightmare for the Republicans because Barack Obama would be a very tough opponent against John S McCain and against any other Republican candidate. The Conservatives are looking forward to THE CLINTONS victory because they will be easy targets. The Democrats are looking forward to John S McCain winning the nomination because they will hit him with all the trash they have on him, they will start with The Keating Five scandal and then go from there.

Shipmates, regardless of WHO the Democratic nominee is, we will be witnessing history here with the first Woman or the first African American getting the nomination from a major political party. We are living interesting times. Are you having FUN with the primaries? Well, I am having a ball.

See I told you so, politics is fun!!

ABC and ABM

No, this is not a joke, this is an actual road sign pointing the way to nearby towns Clinton and Prosperity in Newberry, South Carolina.

Amazing sign! As of 01/30/2008 he is saying Adios to the campaign, but he will continue to fight for the little guys and he is NOT endorsing THE CLINTONS or Barack Obama.

Well, John Edwards is now out of competition and in ref to the cfs 2008 predictions we blew it on this one:

8. DEMOCRATIC PRIMARIES RESULTS. No guts, no air medals. Against all odds we are predicting the Democratic Party nominee here. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will make a good showing during the primaries, only to become Silver and Bronze medalists. Playing the gender card backfires on Hillary Clinton, her opponents take no prisoners during the nasty primaries, and she suffers an embarrassing defeat - she was in it to win it, but she lost it. John Edwards becomes the comeback kid and wins the Primaries Gold Medal. John Edwards picks a southern governor as his running mate. The Gold Medalist comes out of the primaries with a lot of money and a lot of endorsements. John Edwards becomes an easy target for the Right Wing Axis (RWA), easy target for the Republican Attack Machine (RAM), and easy target for the Republican Swift Boaters (RSB).

No, John Edwards did not become the comeback kid and did not win the Primaries Gold Medal.

Plus, on the Democratic Party side of the house we blew it big time on the FINAL FOUR call.

The cfs guy is now ready for your jokes, but one thing to remember here is that the cfs guy was the only one making those GUTSY predictions. NOW it is easy to predict the NOMINEES for each party, but I made my first call back in MARCH 2007 and the cfs 2008 predictions were made on Christmas Eve 2007.

Right or wrong on those two calls, as I have said ad nauseam this general election is for the GOP to lose and I see the GOP nominee winning in November 2008 as per my cfs prediction number ten - the Republican Party candidate wins by getting 49.3 percent of the populous vote and 280 electors.

Yes, the Republican Party candidate wins by getting 49.3 percent of the populous vote and 280 electors - we shall see on the evening of November 4th 2008 [no, there will NOT be another Florida or Ohio fiasco, America will know that the Republican Party candidate WON before the evening is over].

See I told you so - politics can be fun!

I voted - have you?

Political Recap 027

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_6DsJkZIvjsU/R59WWGcILbI/AAAAAAAAAFg/igbisyIjUXs/s400/Romney+for+president.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5160938635675577778" />
Mitt Romney is all smiles, but as per the latest polls he will get the SILVER medal in the Florida primary today, that is, IF we are to believe the polls.

FLORIDA voters are back on the spot. Well, it is now up to FLORIDA. It is primary time there and the voters in FLORIDA just can not win.

Regardless of the outcome the voters of FLORIDA will be blamed and will be ridiculed by the rest of the country.

On the Democratic Party side of the house THE CLINTONS will pull a fast one and WIN in FLORIDA. Note that THE CLINTONS were the only Democratic Party candidates doing any campaigning in the state of FLORIDA and now they want every vote to count.

On the Republican Party side of the house this will be RUDY's LAST STAND. He is in a most win situation and things are not looking good for the Rudy's team, IF we are to believe the polls.

As per the latest polls JOHN S MCCAIN will be the winner in FLORIDA on the GOP side of the house [remember what happened in New Hampshire with the polls fiasco].

Again, regardless of the outcome the voters of FLORIDA will be blamed and ridiculed. This man took a chance on not competing on the early primaries and caucuses and placed all his money in the Florida primary. As per the latest polls [if we are to believe the polls after the New Hampshire fiasco] he is currently in fourth place. Interesting piece of new from the LA TIMES, check this out.

Rudy Giuliani appears to be pondering an end to his long pursuit of the Republican presidential nomination. In a meeting in the back of his chartered plane en route to St. Petersburg, Fla., a short while ago, the onetime, longtime GOP front-runner told a small group of reporters, including The Times' Louise Roug: "The winner of Florida will win the nomination." That's an unusually categorical statement suggesting that only a total upset for Giuliani, who trails both Mitt Romney and John McCain in all major polls for Florida's Republican primary tomorrow, will keep him in the competition, despite previous repeated vows to continue.

Very interesting, you can check what I wrote on the cfs 2008 prediction number nine, and here is just a quote for you: After having a good time in 2007, the 911 candidate Rudy Giuliani suffers an embarrassing defeat during the primaries, however, he will continue to make millions of dollars exploiting the 911 events, and becomes the prime candidate for Secretary of Homeland Security.

So, the race could be over soon for Rudy Giuliani and his exit could benefit one of the candidates [John S McCain]. We shall see.

See I told you so - politics can be fun!

Anyone But The Clintons

Updated 01/27/2008 at 1350 Pacific. The Kennedys are saying NO to The Clintons. Check this from The Politico.

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) plans to endorse Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) for president in a joint appearance on Monday, Democratic sources said. The embrace provides a dramatic rocket for Obama to ride into the frantic, nationwide campaigning ahead of the spate of Super Tuesday primaries on Feb. 5, the biggest day for nominating contests in U.S. history. Caroline Kennedy, the senator's niece and the daughter of President John F. Kennedy, will also appear at the rally, the sources said.

Glad to see the Kennedys saying NO to the corrupt Clintons.

Original post.

The CLINTONS took a whipping in South Carolina yesterday. But please do not open those champagne bottles yet. A whipping was part of the CLINTONS plan, if you are to believe Dick Morris [a man of low ethical values]. Here is something he wrote prior to the South Carolina primary.

Their love needs to appear to have been unrequited by the black community for their rejection to seem so unfair that it triggers a white backlash. In this kind of ricochet politics, you have to lose openly and publicly in order to win the next round. And since the next round consists of all the important and big states, polarizing the contest into whites versus blacks will work just fine for Hillary.

Click [here] for the rest of the story.

So, if we are to believe the CLINTONS plan, it is now a whites versus blacks on the Democratic Party side of the house, and I hope this will backfire on the CLINTONS.

Imho the CLINTONS have caused GRAVE damage to race relations in the United States. But at the end of the day registered Democratic Party voters will go to the poll and support the CLINTONS.

It is up to the real independents [over 22 percent of the electorate are registered as such] to just say NO to the CLINTONS.

As I have said before, this Libertarian Independent voter will NOT support a single Democratic Party candidate in November 2008 based on the CLINTONS actions.

See I told you so, politics can be fun!

Political Recap 026

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6DsJkZIvjsU/R5qV4mcILaI/AAAAAAAAAFY/WLskmF2sMTY/s400/Obama.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5159601122730061218" />Democratic Party presidential candidate Barack Obama. If we are to believe the polls he will win the South Carolina primary on 01/26/2008, however, remember New Hampshire!

Updated 01/26/2008 at 1815 Pacific. Well, he did it and he did it big. Barack Obama was able to beat THE CLINTONS and he was able to beat them by a large margin. With over 90% of the votes counted Barack Obama is winning 56% to 27% or via a 2-1 ratio. Glad to see THE CLINTONS embarrassed today in South Carolina after playing THE RACE CARD. To my friends in South Carolina I say this: THANK YOU!

Original post.

Bill Clinton is doing a good job destroying the Obama machine, but things are looking good for the Obama team in South Carolina - that is, if we are to believe the polls. As I have said before, the poll that counts is the one taken during the votes count. And let me say this one more time, I learned a long time ago not to underestimate the Clintons.

Barack Obama needs a BIG victory in South Carolina, and I mean a victory by seven or eight points over Hillary Clinton. As per every poll in the land Obama is going to win tomorrow - but again, remember New Hampshire. Here is this from Zogby:

Illinois Sen. Barack Obama’s lead over New York Sen. Hillary Clinton narrowed yet a little more in South Carolina with just two days to go before the primary, the latest Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby tracking poll shows.

Obama lost a point from the day before and sits at 38% support in the telephone poll, which was conducted Jan. 22-24 and included 811 likely Democratic voters. It carries a margin of error of +/- 3.4 percentage points.

Clinton won 25% support, up one point from the day before but now just four points ahead of former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, who continued to increase support and now sits at 21%.

Edwards has been edging upwards since Zogby International has been reporting its tracking survey ahead of Saturday’s vote. He is up six points in the past two days. Some of Edwards’ new support appears to be coming from voters who had been undecided. A day ago, 13% of likely voters were undecided, but now just 7% said they weren’t sure whom they’d vote for, the latest survey shows.

Well, good to see the latest Edwards' Surge - but it could be too little, too late for John Edwards.

The Democratic primary in South Carolina will be a good test for all the polling agencies - will we see New Hampshire II?

See, I told you so, politics can be fun!

Thanks for reading.

Political Recap 025

Democratic Party presidential candidate John Edwards - the South Carolina native needs a win, and he needs a win now.

Shipmates, it is well known that John Edwards is one of my Final Four, and as per the cfs 2008 predictions he will be the Democratic Party nominee. But this man needs a WIN and he needs a WIN now. Getting a silver or bronze medal in the primaries or caucuses is not going to do the trick, he needs to start winning some gold medals pronto.

This man should be leading in the polls in the South Carolina primary scheduled for next Saturday, but as per the latest Rasmussen tracker things are NOT looking good for his home team in his home state. Barack Obama holds a large and growing double-digit lead over Hillary Clinton in South Carolina.

Here is this from Rasmussen.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in South Carolina shows Obama earning 43% of the vote, Clinton attracting 28%, and John Edwards at 17%. Obama led by thirteen points in the previous Rasmussen Reports poll and has led by at least twelve points in four of the last five polls conducted in the race.

John Edwards has remained between 14% and 17% in all South Carolina polls conducted by Rasmussen Reports in January. However, as Obama pulls away, Edwards is now closer to Clinton than Clinton is to Obama.

Among those who say they are certain to vote Saturday, it’s Obama 45%, Clinton 28%, and Edwards 17%. Among those who say they are certain they will not change their mind before Saturday, it’s Obama 46%, Clinton 32%, and Edwards 15%.

As per John Edwards, he is IN the race until the end. I do NOT expect to see him pulling a Thompson on us, but he needs to start winning pronto. Of all the Democratic Party candidates he could be the most electable, specially now after watching the race and gender war between the CLINTONS [both of them] and OBAMA!

Thanks for reading!

Political Recap 024

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6DsJkZIvjsU/R41nNQUrxQI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/KaPmI_bJaTU/s400/Romney+for+president.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5155890625826768130" />Mitt Romney wins in Michigan!!!

Updated 01/22/2008 at 1740 Pacific.

Okay shipmates, cfs is back from UTAH and we are back in action here. I voted - Have YOU?

Updated 01/17/2008

Shipmates, I will place The Lowest Rated Blog in standby mode for the next couple of days. I will be heading NORTH TO UTAH this evening and will not be able to post any replies here, but don't let this stop you from posting your comments! As a famous terminator said, I will be back! Have a productive weekend and a happy Martin Luther King Holiday. Thanks for reading and thanks for your support.

Original post.

Well, he was able to do it. Based on the television networks the winner of the primary in Michigan is Mitt Romney. And the Republican Party race is getting hot hot hot hot with no solid front runner.

And just for the fun of it, here is cfs 2008 prediction number 9:

9. REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES RESULTS. No guts, no air medals. Against all odds we are predicting the Republican Party nominee here. After having a good time in 2007, the 911 candidate Rudy Giuliani suffers an embarrassing defeat during the primaries, however, he will continue to make millions of dollars exploiting the 911 events, and becomes the prime candidate for Secretary of Homeland Security. Mitt Romney gains support from the Religious Right after giving his word that the Western White House will not be located at Temple Square in Salt Lake City. The Christian Coalition, Focus on the Family, and the rest of the Morally Superior bunch will pinch their noses and jump on the Mitt Romney's band wagon because the God Talkers want to continue having a direct line with the White House. Mitt Romney wins the nomination and picks a southern governor as his running mate. Mitt Romney comes out of the primaries in good shape and with a lot of M&M (Mormon Money) for the general election.

See I told you so - Politics is fun !!

Thanks for reading !

Political Recap 023

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6DsJkZIvjsU/R4ugagUrxPI/AAAAAAAAAFI/R2YUH0ZpNpQ/s400/Giuliani+for+president.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5155390575669396722" />Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani - why is this man smiling?

We continue with our series of political recaps and this time around we are talking about Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani. This man took a gamble and we will see if at the end of the day the gamble pays off big time. He decided not to compete in Iowa, did not care about New Hampshire, is not a big factor in Michigan, and he is not going to be a factor in South Carolina.

But, then there is the FLORIDA factor, and Rudy is betting all his money on a Florida victory [by winning in Florida he will have more delegates than the rest of the Republican candidates]. But, what will happen IF he fails to win in Florida?

If we are to believe the polls, things are not looking good for Rudy's home team in the state of Florida. As per the latest Rasmussen tracker, a telephone survey found four candidates essentially tied for the lead in Florida’s Republican Presidential Primary. John S McCain is leading with 19 percent, Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney are tied for second with 18 percent, Mike Huckabee with 17 percent, Fred Thompson with 11 percent, and Ron Paul is a sixth with 5 percent. Anything can happen in Florida.

On the national polls [if we are to believe the polls] things are NOT looking good for the Rudy's team. After leading the polls for months, Rudy finds himself in the back of the pack. Here are the Rasmussen tracker national numbers, John McCain is leading with 24 percent, Mike Huckabee is second with 20 percent, Mitt Romney is hanging there with 14 percent, Fred Thompson with 11 percent, Rudy Giuliani with 10 percent, Ron Paul with 4 percent, others with 4 percent, and [check this out] the undecided with 13 percent. The winner will be the one winning the undecided voter.

See I told you so, politics can be fun!

Thanks for reading!

Political Recap 022

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6DsJkZIvjsU/R4luLQUrxOI/AAAAAAAAAFA/H5SPf-gQOx8/s400/Romney+for+president.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5154772388141581538" />Mitt Romney is in a "must win situation" in Michigan.

If we are to believe the polls, then good news for Mitt Romney in Michigan, he is leading the rest of the gang as per the latest Rasmussen tracker - again, if we are to believe the polls. The latest Rasmussen tracker found Mitt Romney with 26 percent of the the vote, John McCain with 25 percent, and Mike Huckabee with 17 percent. Too close to call.

In early December the Rasmussen tracker was showing a three-way race with Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, and Rudy Giuliani all within two points of each other. And where was John McCain? On the same tracker John McCain was a distant 5th, attracting just 8 percent of the vote.

That was then, this is now. And now Rudy Giuliani is getting only 6 percent of the vote, a few points below Fred Thompson with 9 percent of the vote and Ron Paul with 8 percent of the vote.

But again, the polls were totally wrong in New Hampshire - are they going to be right in Michigan? Proceed with caution.

For Mitt Romney Michigan is a must win state.

Thanks for reading!

Political Recap 021

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6DsJkZIvjsU/R4gwIgUrxMI/AAAAAAAAAEw/e3nTfiobP0g/s400/John+Edwars+for+president.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5154422696199308482" />John Edwards - one of my Final Four - needs a victory, he needs a victory now.

John Edwards took the silver medal in Iowa, and the bronze medal in New Hampshire, and the chances of taking the gold medal in upcoming states is not looking good for the Edwards' home team. In the national polls he is hanging there with approx 15 percent in the latest Rasmussen tracker.

Some are expecting John Edwards to quit the race in the not so distant future, but he insists that he is in for the long run. IF or WHEN he quits the race, where will the John Edwards supporters go? That is a good question, and I believe a large majority of his supporters will then support Barack Obama.

As per exit polls the voters in Iowa favored Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton as their 2nd choice by almost a 2-1 margin. Plus, John Edwards supporters in NH reported they had a far more favorable impression of Obama than of Clinton as per election night surveys.

As per the latest Rasmussen tracker dated 01/11/2008 the Democratic presidential race is looking like this [national poll]: Hillary Clinton 35 percent, Barack Obama 33 percent, and John Edwards is third with 15 percent. But, after the New Hampshire polling fiasco we shall not pay too much attention to the polls.

Thanks for reading!

Political Recap 020

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6DsJkZIvjsU/R4aguAUrxLI/AAAAAAAAAEo/pygGXcgSzNs/s400/Richardson+for+president.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5153983535793292466" />Governor Bill Richardson, from the Great State of New Mexico, saying Adios to the primaries, he is going back to the Great State of New Mexico.

Welcome to political recap number twenty! We are discussing various issues here, please read on.

Well, time to say Adios to one of My Final Four. Governor Richardson is saying NO MAS to his run for the White House. But, he is not endorsing any of the candidates. Personally, I was expecting from him to endorse his former boss, Hillary Clinton, but it did not happen.

And talking about endorsements, today Senator John Kerry from the Great State of MA endorsed candidate Barack Obama, and again, this is another surprise, I was expecting from him to endorse John Edwards because they were running mates during the 2004 election. Bad news for John Edwards [another member of the now infamous cfs Final Four].

Please pay attention to what the candidates are doing and to what they are saying during the campaign. The only thing I ask from every American is to do their homework, and to vote for the best candidate regardless of party affiliation.

Here in the Great State of California I can NOT vote for the Republican candidates due to the fact that I am registered as a non-party member or "Decline to State" [that is the official term for real independents in California]. The Democratic Party is allowing ME and the rest of the real independents to vote in the Democratic Primary on February 5th - so, I will vote for one of the Democratic Party candidates.

The Republican Party is saying NO to the real independents, okay, that is their problem. Here in California [as per 2007 numbers] we have 6.7 million Democrats, or 42 percent of registered voters; Republicans make up 5.4 million, or 34 percent, and independents number 3 million, or 19 percent. Oh by the way, all those independents [19 percent of all registered voters] will be able to vote in the general election in November, and, no question about it, they will decide WHO the next president will be.

To the Republican Party I say this, fine, if you don't want MY vote during the Primary then you don't need my vote in November - and if I don't like what I see in November, then my vote will be for NOTA.

Thanks for reading!
